Education is the only tool that can bring change in the world. Even Aristotle said,” Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all.” Experience is the best teacher in life. However, it is worthless and a waste of time if you do not learn the lessons that life teaches you. I truly believe that maturity comes with experience; age is just a number. You maybe 50 years old, but still, your thoughts can be narrow.
Education leads to broadmindedness
Acceptance is a virtue that leads to broadmindedness. There is a difference between the terms educated and literate.
An educated person implements his/her knowledge for the improvement and betterment of society. For example, when you are implementing the academic concepts in practical life, you are faced with real challenges. Then, your smart approach, logic and unique skill of problem-solving aligned with your education and observation will help you resolve the issue at the earliest.

The approximate ratio of public schools to private schools in India is 7:5.” (source: Wikipedia)
The education system in India has evolved from the concept of gurukuls (guru-shishya) to standardized schools, colleges, and universities. Through a period of 12 years, a student attains basic education – a steppingstone to future workforce and entrepreneurs.
Curriculum
What a child should study is highly debatable. The Indian constitution has committed to providing free and compulsory education to children up to 14 years of age. But the main question is what is your child studying? Is the curriculum fair and all-inclusive or does it develop a biased mindset?

Role of Student Politics in Education
Student politics is commonly witnessed after senior secondary education. After 18 years, individuals start understanding both sides of society as well as of the government. The student starts thinking whether the government is good or bad. Secondly, the rationale behind student politics is simple. Students believe that their initiative can bring about a change in society. Sometimes, a difference in opinion may turn this initiative into a revolution. It is not wrong for students to get involved in politics since they are the future of the country. Student politics should be aimed at the development of a better society in the future.
Students nowadays are better informed about the day to day politics and current affairs. However, they should avoid becoming a pawn of the political party. Read an interesting article: https://www.dailypioneer.com/2017/state-editions/should-student-politics-be-banned-in-india.html
A campus throbbing with political debates is good, one practicing the crudest censorship for one party or the other, one ideology or the other, is the polar opposite. Let a diversity of voices participate in campus politics. Encourage conversations not violence or police interventions or those by Big Brother.
