HLF2018 – an event to cherish forever 🙂
The Hyderabad Literary Festival invited me as a Speaker to promote the concept of Rise of Literati, a literary platform in Hyderabad.
Rise of Literati
There are several writing clubs such as Write Club Hyderabad, storytelling clubs such as Tale Tellers’ Troupe, and poetry clubs such as Ka se Kavita that are promoting art and literature in Hyderabad. But, what makes Rise of Literati unique, then? We are one-of-a-kind platform that brings together budding writers, authors, avid readers, and bookworms on a common platform. To spread the wings of Rise f Literati, I am happy to guide the community on its path of becoming a branded organization enjoying the support of avid readers and aspiring creative writers.
I enjoy sharing the lessons learned in my publishing experience with the community members. As a community, we plan to organize mini literature festivals, book reading sessions, book review discussions, flash fiction, monthly book challenge, and creative writing workshops to keep the spirit of Literati alive in each and every Hyderabadi.
Reading books expands our knowledge base and elevates our level of thinking. Through Rise of Literati, we aim to inculcate the habit of reading in the youth by organizing sessions and workshops in colleges.
Inviting all people who love to read or write in joining our movement of spreading the joy of books and literature.
HLF2018 also gave me an opportunity to speak with eminent personalities in the field of arts, culture, and literature. I had a chance to meet Kannada poet Pratibha Nandkumar, theatre personalities such as Sanjana Kapoor, Arundhati Nag, Vijay Padaki, and not to forget as it was a great fan moment, legendary dancer Sonal Mansinghji.
